Account email, phone number, display name, birth year, gender, interests, photos, and availability heartbeat (lat/lng when you choose to go available).
We use your data to power discovery within 500 meters, create matches, enable 15-minute chats, and support safety features like blocking, reporting, and cooldowns.
Location is only collected while you are available. We never display exact coordinates, and you can go offline at any time to stop sharing. We do not keep historical locations—only the latest heartbeat while you are available.
Venue operators may provide location and contact details to host MeetNow on-site and set a venue-specific discovery radius. We use this to enable venue-first discovery and do not share venue contact details with other users.
When you use MeetNow outside a hosted venue, locations are unconfirmed and may be less controlled. Safety tools (block/report) and verification still apply.
Chat messages live only inside an active match and are inaccessible after the 15-minute window closes.
Email and phone verification are required to use availability and chat. Face verification is mandatory and compares a live check against your profile photos to help others know it’s you. Verification imagery is used solely for this purpose.
Early-access emails are kept until you opt out. Match and message data expire with the match. Legal retention applies where required.
We use cloud storage for photos and analytics to improve reliability and safety. No data is sold.
